A note about inquiries: submitting a Contact, Speaking Enquiry, Activation Room or similar business form may create or update a contact record so we can respond and manage our relationship with you. It does not, by itself, subscribe you to promotional marketing.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Hyacinth Harley Ventures LLC (“HHV,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles personal information collected through hyacinthharley.com, our forms, email communications, purchases, event registrations, program applications and other HHV interactions. Our website and services are intended for adults age 18 and older.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with HHV, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, organization, event or program information, application responses, purchase or registration details, communications with us, and preferences you choose to share.

When you use our website, technical information may also be collected through the website platform and service providers, such as device and browser information, IP address, pages visited, referral information and similar usage data.

3. Payments and third-party purchases

When HHV accepts a payment through Square or another payment processor, payment-card information is processed by that provider. HHV does not need to receive or store your full payment-card number to complete the transaction.

If you purchase a book or other product through Amazon, Barnes & Noble or another third-party retailer, that retailer processes the transaction under its own privacy practices.

4. How we use information

We may use personal information to respond to and manage inquiries; maintain contact records and a history of our relationship and communications with you; follow up where appropriate about an inquiry, invitation, application or business relationship; deliver requested resources; process purchases and registrations; review program applications; administer bookings, events, communities, programs and services you have expressed interest in; provide customer support; maintain business, contractual, tax, legal and recordkeeping records; improve our website and offerings; protect our services and users; comply with legal obligations; and communicate with you about HHV where permitted.

Submitting a Contact, Speaking Enquiry, Activation Room or similar business form may result in your details being retained in our contact-management or CRM systems for these relationship-management purposes. Submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to promotional marketing communications.

5. Marketing and other communications

If you request a resource, join a list, select an optional marketing opt-in or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, we may send occasional updates, resources, news or promotional communications through our email and CRM provider, currently Brevo. Where we ask for marketing consent, that choice is separate from submitting an inquiry or application. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message or withdraw your consent at any time.

We may still contact you without marketing consent when reasonably necessary to respond to or follow up on your inquiry, manage an existing business relationship, complete a transaction, administer a booking, event, application, program or service, or send other non-marketing communications connected with your interaction with HHV.

6. Service providers and disclosure

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website and business, such as Framer for website services, Square for payment processing, Brevo for email and contact management, form or scheduling providers, event platforms and professional advisers.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for site operation, security, preferences, analytics or other enabled features. The exact technologies used may change as the website evolves. Where required, we will provide appropriate choices or notices.

8. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including business, contractual, tax, recordkeeping and legal purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. You may also withdraw marketing consent at any time.

To make a privacy request, email privacy@hyacinthharley.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

10. Children

HHV’s website, programs and services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through this website.

11. External links

Our website may link to third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, providers or legal obligations change. The effective date shown on this page will indicate the latest revision.
