1. Purpose
Hyacinth Harley Ventures creates spaces for practical learning, reflection, honest conversation and forward movement. This Code of Conduct sets expectations for participants in HHV programs, communities, events and facilitated experiences.
2. Respect and dignity
Treat other participants, guests, facilitators and staff with respect. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks, intimidation, harassment, discriminatory conduct, threats or deliberately demeaning behavior are not.
3. Constructive conversation
Contribute in ways that allow others to participate. Listen as well as speak, avoid dominating the room, and engage differences with curiosity and care. Challenging ideas should not require diminishing people.
4. Privacy and confidentiality
Some HHV experiences invite participants to share personal, professional or faith-related reflections. Do not record, publish, quote, screenshot or share another participant’s personal story or identifying information outside the space without that person’s permission.
Participants should also use their own judgment about what confidential, proprietary or highly sensitive information they choose to disclose.
5. Professional and personal boundaries
Respect stated boundaries, consent and the purpose of the space. Unwanted solicitation, persistent private contact, exploitative behavior or using an HHV community primarily to market products or services to other participants is not appropriate unless expressly invited.
6. Participation
Arrive prepared where preparation is requested, honor agreed session norms, and take responsibility for your own participation. In cohort programs, consistent participation helps protect the quality of the experience for the whole group.
7. Faith and difference
HHV’s work may be openly informed by Christian faith. Participants may come from different backgrounds and perspectives. No participant should be pressured to disclose personal beliefs or experiences, and respectful questions and differences should be handled without ridicule or hostility.
8. Raising a concern
If conduct makes you feel unsafe, disrespected or unable to participate meaningfully, you may raise the concern privately with HHV. We will consider the circumstances and respond in a manner we believe is appropriate to the setting and seriousness of the concern.
9. Response to violations
Depending on the circumstances, HHV may address a concern informally, set boundaries, issue a warning, limit participation or remove a participant from an event, program or community. Serious or repeated conduct may result in removal. Any refund implications are governed by the applicable registration terms or Participant Agreement.
